How to Create and Host a World
Choosing Game Mode and Adjusting Settings
After choosing LEGO Fortnite, navigate to the Select World button on the screen’s left side. Select one of the New World slots in the Create World menu, where you can customize your World’s settings.
You can have a maximum of eight save slots for your unique Worlds.
In creating your World, decide if you want it to be in Survival or Sandbox mode. Survival Mode involves building, gathering, and crafting to face various threats in the open world. On the other hand, Sandbox Mode allows spawning items and building without requiring resources. Enemies are absent in Sandbox Mode unless you modify the settings, and you can utilize Fly Mode for quicker exploration.
After selecting a Game Mode, proceed to tailor your Advanced Settings. Keep in mind that these cannot be altered after creating your World. Ensure your settings are accurate before finalizing.
Inviting Friends to Your World
The process for inviting friends can slightly vary. If you’re in the Fortnite lobby, open the Social tab by pressing one of the plus symbols. Send invites to a maximum of seven friends to join your party. Once everyone has joined, ready up to enter the World or create a new one.
If you’re already in a World as the Owner, invite friends through the Social tab or the in-game menu. Access the Players tab within the in-game menu and press Invite Players.
Sharing Keys with Friends
In LEGO Fortnite, you can share up to seven Keys with friends, allowing them to access your World independently. Without Keys, they cannot enter your World without you and will be removed from the World when you exit the party or World.
To share a Key, open the menu, navigate to the Players tab, select a friend, and press the button prompt to grant them a Key. You can revoke Keys anytime.
