When Will Proximity Chat Become Available in Fortnite
Proximity Chat is set to launch in Fortnite later in 2024, specifically in the final quarter between October and December. Initially, this feature will be limited to Fortnite Creative mode, providing a controlled environment to assess its impact and address any potential issues.
The inclusion of Proximity Chat introduces several precautions to ensure player safety. For instance, access to Proximity Chat will be restricted based on a player’s account settings and the specific Creative map in use.
